Genetics is one of my top subjects! I have just completed a PhD in genetics (specifically plant genetics) and I was a TA for Cornell's Introduction to Genetics class for 8 semesters

Though my experience is mostly in molecular biology, it can be expanded to general life sciences. I have just completed a PhD in Genetics at Cornell University with a minor in biochemistry and during my graduate experience, I lectured as a Teaching Assistant for the Introduction to Genetics class for 8 semesters.
My teaching style consists of asking leading questions to enable the student to learn how to think through problems on their own.

A Little Bit About Me...

In my experience, most students learn best by practicing the material and get bored listening to long lectures. However, as I learned from students and from a college tutoring course, all students have different styles of learning and I tailor my teaching to their needs. I want all of my students to experience that moment when everything just "clicks" and they have the confidence to go on learning and reach their high potentials.
