I've studied at SJHS, MSJC, and UCSD. Most of my computer knowledge is from UCSD, as I am a Computer Science Major. I understand the basics of HTML, C++, C, C#, and CSS. I believe that a big part of teaching is listening and observing. Not every student learns the same way, so it is important to be patient and try to understand what works best for the student. In many cases, examples are helpful in learning. Examples that are tailored to a specific student (e.g. drawing correlations to cooking for measurements, or sports for averages) can be a great basis for understanding concepts.
