I received my first tutoring credential in the early 1970's specializing in prep-school placement tests, college-board prep etc. While attending Grad-School (Temple University) in the mid-70's; I worked as a substitute teacher in the Arch-Diocese of Phila. on a high-school level, primarily instructing History. One of the main things I learned in teaching various ages of children in Sunday School is that when they are liked and respected and they know that, they are paying attention and leaning even when they appear to be bored.
