After recieving my master's degree in Visual Art; I started teaching youngsters in the museum classes, Boston Children's Museum, Worceser Art Museum, and Fitchburg Art Museum. I enjoy teaching at the high school level because these kids are fun to teach. Every student has different needs and I try to meet these with various teaching styles. I find that a lot of students learn well when they are shown the information or how to do something, are lead through a process and then proceed to "teach" the process or information back to me. Others require me to help them decipher the text as science can be considered a new language for some. My goal and first priority is always to get the students to graduate.
