I am also endorsed to teach Arabic; a language I've studied for over 10 years. Since graduating from DePaul University in 2010, I have worked at a Chicago Public School located in the Northside. I have taught both U.S. History as well as World History to various levels including Regular and English Language Learners. As for Arabic, I have taught both Regular and Honors Arabic to native speakers as well as non-native speakers. Generally, I'm a constructivist, and I believe the best method of tutoring is providing a completely individuated scaffold for any student. While I was raised in old-school education, I believe that some of the newer techniques of education through hands-on, the use of digital technology, and through writing across the curriculum are effective for many students. I have two bachelor degrees, one in computer science, the other in mathematics with a type 09 cert (6-12).
