As an undergraduate at NYU, I earned that extra spending money by tutoring Latin. As my customer base grew, I branched out into mathematics and general study skills. After college I went to Europe to earn an MA in Linguistics. Upon return, I immediately began a PhD program, and I used my previous experience in a number of side jobs teaching English as a second language.
