Keep it simple!

My very down to earth way of explaining mathematics makes everything clear and concise. I have tutored students who went from hating mathematics courses to performing very well in exams. I like to use a white board when I tutor, it makes it easier to solve many different problems without having to use paper. I also prefer that students bring questions and homework problems to tutor sessions that way I have a better understanding of what they need to learn.

My comments on tutoring Calculus II : Math Minor

I was a valedictorian in my high school, moved on to Fresno State on a full scholarship as a member of the Smittcamp Family Honors College. I obtained two degrees magna cum laude, one in Physics and the other in Philosophy, as well as a minor in Math. Here I tutored all levels of Calculus to college students under Fresno State's Math department for two semesters. During this time I did a variety of Physics research and obtained one journal publication. I also volunteered as a tutor in the community as an undergraduate.
