Experience Summary
Since 2001, I have been privileged to have tutored over 700 students in the very intense subjects of Organic chemistry, General chemistry, Calculus, and Physics. I take pride in my tutoring, in that my students will succeed inside and outside of the classroom. I have tutored over 25,000 hours since 2001 both paid and volunteer peer tutoring. I will go the extra mile to see that you or you student succeed and reach the pinnacle of their potential!
Teaching Style
My goal as an academic tutor is to help you or your student understand important concepts and formulas, while applying them to any problems or exercises that are gone over in lecture or assigned for homework.
Top Subjects
Algebra
In the past 16 years, I have tutored Algebra I, to many Teenagers, and Adults. All my tutees in Algebra I, have earned top grades in this course and have gone on to do well in Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Calculus, and related scientific disciplines.
Algebra I
Proficiency: Expert, and one of my top Subjects!
In the past 16 years, I have tutored Algebra I, to many Teenagers, and Adults. All my tutees in Algebra I, have earned top grades in this course and have gone on to do well in Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Calculus, and related scientific disciplines.
Algebra II
I have tutored close to 100 students in this very important component to most students course of study. I have tutored both High School and College students master this subject on their way to success in Calculus I, II and Physics.
Calculus I
Over ten years experience guiding University and Community College students to "A" and "B" grades in their traditional, online, and distance learning Calculus I courses.
Calculus II
I have tutored Calculus ii to over 75 College Students at UCI, Cal State Fullerton, and Cal State Long Beach. My Students went on to receive A and B grades while gaining a better understanding of how to apply the principles of Calculus to their Physical Science courses.
College Algebra
I have assisted hundreds of Students earn top grades in College Algebra on their way to competitive Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry based courses of study.
Math
I have assisted many students earn top grades throughout their remedial math at the Community College Level to introductory Calculus courses at many of the Nations top Universities.
Pre-Algebra
I have tutored Pre-Algebra for both High school students and Adults in College and those taking Pre-Algebra as prerequisite for trade school programs
Pre-Calculus
I have tutored over 40 students in Pre-Calculus. My students went on to be successful in Calculus, and physics after my tutelage in this pivotal subject.
Statistics
I have assisted many students earn Top grades in Statistics.
Trigonometry
I have assisted over 75 students in Trigonometry, many of whom have retained me for their subsequent trigonometric heavy Precalculus, Calculus I and Calculus II courses.
Chemistry
I have tutored over 50 students achieve A and B grades in General Chemistry at the Collegiate and secondary level.
Organic Chemistry
Proficiency: Expert, and one of my top Subjects!
Since 2001 I have accumulated over 4000 hours of tutoring in Organic Chemistry with none of previous students earning less than a "B" course grade
Physics
Proficiency: Expert, and one of my top Subjects!
Over 10000 hours of tutoring college level physics since 2001. Of the close to 400 students I have tutored in Algebra and Calculus Based physics, all of my students have passed their courses with grades of B or higher.
