With every student I’ve worked with I’ve found that the key to truly appreciating the creative joys of art (whether it be writing, drama, film or painting) is to make clear the inexorable link between the basics of reading and writing and creative freedom. I love working with people, and have a lot of patience. I work hard to let the student work through problems themselves before assisting them. A lot of students I have spent time with just need a small amount of encouragement and are very capable of completing their work. I enjoy working with different types of people, and adapt my style to fit their needs. I started tutoring in 9th grade, and continued until my freshman year of college. I tutored middle school and high school students in math, sciences, and social studies. In college I tutored in Level 1 and 2 French, Psychology, and College Level Algebra.
