Hello! I am a research chemist working at Clemson University. I received my doctorate at University of Chicago in 2019 in the physical sciences. I tutored Math, Science, Algebra, Calculus, Chemistry, and Biology. I taught college level General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry classes as well as tutoring 1-on-1 and group sessions. I also have experience working with elementary and middle school students working as a nanny, helping with homework, literature, writing, math, and science projects. After college graduation I worked for six months in a cancer research lab, which gave me the knowledge of "real life" science and how that effects our lives I have worked as an after school and summer camp counselor which has helped me learn how to relate to them, and teach them material they are learning in school.
I love that look that you get from a child who gets what you are teaching them. When the light bulb turns on, and you know that they understand the process. That's what makes it all worth it.
