My comments on tutoring Saxophone: I am a classically trained saxophonist, fluent on alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone. I have been teaching private lessons for the past four years and am currently the baritone saxophonist for the Real Time Sax Quartet.
My teaching style is focussed around a very supportive environment. I reinforce every players individual strengths while consistently pushing students to face and conquer their deficiencies. I believe whole-heartedly that any student can achieve a very high level of success in music with hard work and the right guidance. I understand all the different ways students learn and I am well aware of all the challenges that come with any level of music/musician.
