Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I am currently enrolled in the Interpreter Training Program (IPP) at Ohlone College. I am fluent in American Sign Language production as well as linguistics.

I recieved top marks in all ASL classes 101 through 104 Upon completion I was accepted into the Ohlone College IPP Program and will be a certified interpreter in 2013. I have extensively studied ASL linguistics and Deaf Culture. Also Deaf History and ASL story telling as well. A Little Bit About Me...

For the past 10 years, I have worked in my community, helping to better the lives of children. At age 15, I began mentoring young girls and volunteering for a non-profit organization, counseling developmentally delayed children and at-risk youth. I later went on to become a Behavioral Therapist, educating children with autism. My love for children (and passion for education) was the determining factor in the course of my college career.
