A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is a facilitating process. I believe it is my job to aide the student in developing a more solid understanding of the coursework in front of them. This may involve explaining the same concept to the child in a variety of ways to help them understand. The child may also just require a patient instructor who is willing to keep practicing until they have reached the mastery stage of learning. Whatever the case may be, a high level of patience, understanding and gentle persistence is necessary in order for the child to feel as though they are making progress and not get discouraged.
