I have two years of experience teaching adults in college-level and public adult education settings. Additionally, I have about 3 years of experience working with children from infancy to adolescence and was a lead after-school teacher. I grew up with a teacher in the Dominican Republic. When my Mother needed a tutor, I was the one to help. I tutored children in the 3rd grade for a year. I also helped family member and friends with homework and exams. Now I have a degree in Accounting and a certificate in Billing and Coding and lots of experience in both areas.

The only way to remember information long term is to relate it to something tangible, especially in subjects like statistics and economics. I am a college student who has taken calculus, calculus II, and multi-variable calculus. I have recieved A's in all of these classes and consider myself to be very capable of teaching high school level mathematics. My major is currently declared as Studio Art with a concentration in woodworking. I initially began study as an engineer and completed the first year of classes before deciding to pursue Studio Art with an intention to attend architecture school down the road. I still have an interest in both Engineering and Computer Programming, but such areas are currently more of a hobby than an expected profession.
