I have worked on numerous teaching in science colloquium, made laser light shows for kids to talk about lasers, and developed specialized science intro courses for college freshmen at wvu.
I like to stay relaxed and have fun, telling a few jokes along the way. It's hard to learn things if you're not interested, and even more so if you're struggling with it! I push students a bit once I'm sure they understand something, and I always try to get them to be at their very best.

As a female in a predominantly male field I’ve had to formulate a self-teaching method since most of my professors were male and seemed to think and teach in similar ways. I have earned two Masters degrees, MS in applied Physics and a MS in radiological sciences. In addition, I have a BS in nuclear physics. I have gained enough experience in teaching physics at the University of Massachusetts, Boston and Lowell.
