My first career was as a Registered Professional Nurse (NYS licensure) for 25 years. During those years, I kept up my interest in various fields of math, such as Abstract Algebra, Differential equations, and topology. I was especially interested in algebraically-capable computer math programs. I,eventually, went back to school for my Mathematics degree as part of a long-standing interest in and commitment to Mathematics. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked a year in the Tutoring Department located at Mohawk Valley Community College. This was an open lab which meant 3-4 students would need help at any one particular time period. Subject Help that I was required for involved Pre-Calculus, Calculus (I & II), Physics, Algebra, Trigonometry and basic electrical courses. Currently I am working as an adjunct at the college teaching an Introductory to Electronics course that involves both lab and lecture time. I have tutored at Clinton Senior High School in the past as a member of the National Honor Society. I am extremely proficient with mathematics having received a BS in mechanical engineering and a minor in mathematics. I did a lot of my school work in groups at college as well, so I am extremely good at working with others and know how to help people work out solutions to problems in order to figure out the answer.
