As a Master's Degree graduate, I was very driven to succeed in the classroom across a variety of disciplines. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and have private tutored individuals across a variety of ages/backgrounds/abilities/disciplines. My primary focus areas are math, english/writing, psychology, and basic sciences. I enjoy teaching and working with children and realize that each child is a unique individual with a different learning style. I have 2 Years of teaching First Aid/ CPR/ AED at the American Red Cross. I also have 1 quarter of tutoring physics at Washington State Community College. I also instruct Pet CPR/First Aid for the American Red Cross. This is especially fulfilling when watching children learn that there is something they can do to help save their injured or sick pet. Though, it has taken me many years to complete my degree, I believe this proves that persistance and perseverance pays off in the end, and that one is never too old to learn.
