Having over a decade of teaching and tutoring experience, I have worked in both the public and private sector. I have taught science and math for grades 8 - 12 and have tutored students ages 10 and up. In addition, I ran the library late night / homework help center program at a local high school. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is unique to each student's indivdual needs. I take time to recognize my students learning style and provide the need materials or teaching style based their needs. I prefer tutoring to working in a classroom because I can give each student the specialized one-on-one time they need to help not only keep them on track with their school's requirements, but also introduce them to better study habits that could help them excel in the classroom when they do return to school.
During my years attending UMass Dartmouth, I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. But I also gained alot of experience working with children. As a graduate student, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a MS in Finance, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and finance. In addition, I have earned a BA in English, in which I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers, along with essays in many various areas of study.
