I have 9 years of experience in teaching chemistry and physics at the high school level. Additionally, extensive experience teaching/tutoring a myriad of other subjects, such as, earth science, algebra, trigonometry, biology, CPR/first aid, GED prep and various adult education classes. I believe that knowledge is an intimate thing, and that learning should be fun, and confidence-building. I use eliciting techniques, bringing student knowledge to the table first, and then build upon it. Knowing a student is important for preparing relevant materials for class.
