Elementary Vocabulary Tutors & Teachers for Lessons, Instruction or Help in Welling, OK

Substitute for Elementary Schools and Junior High Schools from 2004 to 2006, off and on. I've been teaching Guitar and Skateboarding Basics for the past five years. It has been slow for the past couple of years, but I still do some teaching about every week. So if you need help with anything just know I may not be as educated as others. While I was in High School I tutored Elementary students in reading, spelling, science and social studies in all grades. I also tutored high school students in English and math to pass school entry exams. I had a 100% passing rate! During my University career I tutored students in Micro and Macro Economics, all maths, Spanish and Machine Dynamics and Control. I've also received training on how to use different tools to tutor students that understand at different levels. I never give up on students and always try to use different tools to help them understand. I like seeing them encouraged and feel like they can do anything they set their mind to!

I'm extremely patient. I try to find creative ways to keep the kids engaged in the material, making sure that learning is fun. Since graduating from my undergraduate program in 2007, I have had a passion for teaching and learning. My first teaching experience was working in Camden, New Jersey. I served as an intern art teacher for at-risk first through third graders in an after school/summer school program. Shortly thereafter I started my Master's program, where I integrated my passion for teaching into my capstone project.
