I like to motivate my students by providing background knowledge and examples of application in the world outside of textbooks. I think it is important for students to create an emotional experience to ensure that knowledge will be stored. I decided at the age of 38 to attend college and earn my BA of Education degree. I have worked with and coached young people most of my life on a volunteer basis. Teaching has always been one of my passions. I have worked with students with learning disabilities in my eleven years of teaching. I have taught all the core subjects from grades 3-12.
