A Little Bit About Me...

I am very interactive with the student and I want them to see me as a friend. I for one do not like to be told what to do and how to do it, that never helps me learn. It is better when you feel you are working towards a common goal with your superior. I want my student to feel free to talk to me about anything, and to enjoy learning the material he or she is struggling with. A Little Bit About Me...

After working as an environmental engineer for a couple of years, I realized that I wanted to join the teaching force. I was the rookie teacher of year for my school and then two years later, received the teacher of year nomination. During the past 5 years, I have taught chemistry, physics, and math for college readiness in which I had a 90% pass rate for the common end of course exams.

Once they feel that I care, they open up and the learning really begins! I enjoy teaching children. I do have a particular interest in middle school and high school ages, but have enjoyed tutoring my daughter's younger friends as well.
