I then completed my bachelors degree while tutoring part time at SUNY Oswego and independently with a high school student in Math and AP physics. All children and adolescents can successfully acquire and process new information. Many students encounter difficulty learning in a traditional school setting because the large class sizes do not afford the teacher the time to learn about each individual and attend to his or her specific needs. As a tutor, I find my students' strongest learning modalities. In doing so, my students learn to trust and respect me as a person and see me as a support.
