A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a teacher and professor now for about half of my life. I have taught various science subjects to students of diverse abilities. This includes students at the junior high level to medical students. Despite the age difference there are a number of characteristic traits that remain constant in every learner. The job of a professor is to listen to the student and gauge the level of understanding of the topic and steer the learner to correct answer. This is achievable in any topic with any student. Biological sciences are good example of this strategy. Online teaching/tutoring is the future of science.

I am currently a PhD student in Chemistry and hold education in high regard. I believe education is the key to success in any field. I have a excellent grasp of the Sciences and Math coupled with excellent writing skills. From my undergraduate years I have tutored and mentored students in subjects ranging from Chemistry to Math, SAT, both Verbal and Quantitative sections, and English.
I strive to make the student better and ultimately independent. I teach to instill the love of education in the student and give the student my best. As a graduate of Bethel University, I am currently pursuing a teaching career and am committed to excellence. While I was at Bethel, I earned two bachelor degrees, one in Creative Writing and one in Spanish. I assisted numerous friends by copy editing their essays, showing them where I saw they could improve while affirming where I saw their strengths. Each of these friends received A's or B's on their polished work. I also studied in Spain for one semester to complete my degree. I have worked with the Special Needs community for almost five years now, and have worked for ACR Homes in St. Paul, MN and for REM, Iowa besides working as a para-educator for Wickham elementary.
