My comments on tutoring Psychology : I have studied psychology and can teach the subject.

I learn visually and by reading the subject materials. I teach by showing students what they need to know by reading and using visual aids in my teaching style. I incorporate technology in my teaching because some students are hands on. I teach students in groups and individually.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a high school senior and I have received straight-A's every year. I have taken math classes up to the multivariable calculus level and have scored in the top percentiles on every standardized math test I have taken. I first like to start with finding out where the child is confused by going over and re-teaching past assignments that were misunderstood. I like to go over past tests and make sure they understand what they missed and teach them the correct answer. I believe that this is very important so they can grasp future material. I will then try many different teaching styles to either find what works best for the particular child or to keep things interesting and keep the child wanting to learn. I am a big believer in real life examples and visual cues. I write every little detail so that one can always look back to their notes and have no problem revising. Courses such as biology and psychology are comprised of a ton of theory, therefore diagrams, frequent quizzes and examples play an integral part to learning. I describe the lengthy terms and processes by breaking them down, drawing and explaining the origin of the words. On the other hand, mathematics and statistics require consistent practice.
