I graduated from Calvin College in 2007 with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics. My experience in tutoring ranges from fourth grade math to calculus and college level math. I have tutored in formal settings with set schedules as well as impromptu homework and study sessions. All of my tutoring experience is in mathematics.

After that, a student is best served by having their teacher guide their mental processes so that they become accustomed to the mode of thinking that either results in the correct answer (in a quantitative subject) or a strong, well-reasoned argument (in a qualitative one).
