As a college student I am still striving for my goal and dream of becoming a veterinarian. I have always been a mentor in my community and willing to help others where they need help. My favorite subjects throughout grade school include math and science, in which I have excelled in both by being placed in honor level classes throughout high school. I have tutored many students in math, science and elementary level reading.
My teaching style with younger children is to have a relaxed setting where no pressure in placed upon the student. I'm always sure to review my material before going into a new lecture. When a student is not understanding the material I try to use many methods for then to gain a better understanding. I start by asking the students to tell me exactly what is it that they not understand and start from there. I then like to work backwards from that point to find where they got lost. I also use everyday concepts to give similiar scenarios to get them on the right track. I find pleasure in seeing their faces light up once they come to understand the subject matter.

I graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2008 with three bachelor degrees: B.A. in German Language and Literature, B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature, and B.A. in Global Studies. I receive all three degrees in 4 years of studying. I also did three study abroad semesters at foreign universities: Die Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg in Oldenburg, Germany, and La Universidad Empresserial Siglo 21 in Córdoba, Argentina.
