I prefer to teach by interaction by which I mean walking you through the steps as you complete them versus lecturing. I believe that hands on experience is the best way to help things stick when it comes to AutoCAD. I truly enjoy teaching. I am very easy going and I can make subjects easy to learn. Since I have an engineering background, I have the tendency to break complex problems into smaller parts. This makes it easier for the student to follow through. All my students in the past have enjoyed learning from me and I am certain that this will not change. I consider myself a 'people-person'. I coached youth sports for 10 years and enjoy working with kids. I am a relaxed, creative and centered teacher. Kids want to learn; in sports, academics and in life in general. They also want to have fun and be excited about it. I believe I make this possible. Our 5 year old is autistic and cognitively delayed. We have been successful at making learning fun, even for her.
With my degree in communications I am very confident in my ability to explain clearly, ideas and lessons. My career has been in sales and design of educational interiors.
