I go through all the concepts with the individual pertaining to what portion of statistics they are studying at that time. I will then walk them through a couple of examples demonstrating how to properly obtain the correct answer. I will follow that up by asking them to do a problem without any direct instruction from me. I will watch them work on the problem to assure they are working on it properly. If any mistakes are made I will politely point them out as the individual is working. Finally, I will ask them to work on problems completely on their own and I will check their answers when they are done. I feel the only way to learn statistics, or any math for that matter, is through repetition and working on a lot of problems.

I love teaching in a hands on style in which the student not only has an algorithm of how to solve a specific problem, but has a thorough understanding of the concepts behind the algorithm. I enjoy having analogies or hands-on activities to demonstrate the concepts. A Little Bit About Me...

I am an easy going individual who attempts to make learning fun and relate it to real life examples. With physics and calculus, there are many instances when assignments can be very difficult to comprehend because it's difficult to see how a derivative or integral relates to real life situations. I do my best to try and simplify difficult problems into easy steps that a student would already know. I feel that the best way to fully learn something though is to do it yourself. As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through out the years I have taught 5-8th graders in various subjects, as well as helped teach for a national board review company to chiropractic students all over the country in a variety of topics. I was also the editor-in-chief for the Palmer Triune, helping me obtain an excellent understanding and appreciation for the English language.
My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to. I always had to find a way to relate to the material, and when I tutor that is exactly what I try to achieve with each student.
