Ready to love learning

I currently work as a substitute teacher at Riverside Military Academy. I've worked with elementary children and teenagers extensively. My most recent position serves twenty and thirty somethings in their personal and spiritual formation. I have published my writing, acted on stage, spoken before thousands and mentored dozens. I start out with discussing the area of weakness with the student and then try to investigate why this might be the area of weakness. Once this is discovered, I teach the student (through examples) until they understand the topic with which they need help. Then, I observe how they perform without my guidance and see if they have learned to complete problems solo.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a tutor Since about the age of 13. Mathematics and science have been the areas with the most experience. In high school and through to college, I was a part of organizations such as Mu Alpha theta, Top 10 Percent, Fun Lab Inc etc... that were centered around giving kids opportunities to be more involved with STEM and tutored them in those various subjects. During the summers of 2015 and 2016, I taught elementary kids Math, Language, Reading, and Engineering.
