Children learn in different ways, and I try to individualize my teaching methods to suit the individual child. After earning my teaching degree in English, I gained some middle school and high school teaching experience, then took a different path for some years. While earning my master's degree in reading education, I gained experience by helping teach children at Western Carolina University's reading clinic in Asheville.
