I love helping students understand concepts that seem 100% foreign to them. I teach mostly geared towards visual learners. I tend to use visual and real life examples to push my students to grasp the concepts for themselves. I prefer to make them do the work and answer questions as we move forward. Every child can learn but since everyone is different, a different approach is needed to ensure the information and abstract concepts are fully understood. Auditory learners like myself would learn best from an entertaining lecture followed by auditory questions designed for the learner to discover for him or herself what it is they were looking for with myself as a guide. Visual learners would learn best by a movie or re-enactment, and some reading. Kinesthetic learners would need a hands on experience to get a better understanding.
