I graduated from TJ High in 2011, and I'm now attending High Point University as a Strategic Communication and Human Relations double major. I am also working toward a minor in Marketing. Throughout high school, I earned a 3.92 grade point average, which means in my 8 semesters, I only finished 2 classes with a grade lower than A. During this time, I took 7 AP courses (World History, Psychology, US History, Calculus AB/BC, Literature, Environmental Science, and European History), which allowed me to enter college more than a semester ahead of most of my peers.

I opened my own studio in 2003. I teach children through adults on piano, keyboard, flute and voice. I graduated in 2011 with a BA in Music with a minor in Art History. I have gone to workshops with Musikgarten. In 2012 my son graduated from University of Md- Baltimore county with a BA in Music and joined my studio. He teaches violin, viola, steel drum and drums.
I believe that anyone can learn regardless of age. I teach from the Thompson series with additional books in Theory. I also use other books other than the series to give experience in the different genres. A brief History of Music is introduced.

Private piano and organ teacher from 1976 to 1988. Taught lessons at Ralon Music Store and home studio. Age range of students was from 7 year old to adults. Had each student participate in two annual recitals and the National Guild of Piano Teachers Guild annually. Each student took a 30 minute private lesson weekly and performed at monthly workshops to enhance theory and performance skills. I have taken private lessons both classical and jazz improvisation. I was a church organist and choir pianist from 1981 to 2001.
