I am very adaptive to students learning style. I usually spend the first ten minutes of our first meeting figuring out what the student is struggling with and how to best meet their needs. I try to teach students more how to think analytical more so then just solving problems because it is more beneficial to the student. I feel that if I can teach the student how to read theorems, understand concepts, then problems just become easy at that point.
I started tutoring part time in 2004 and have continued this throughout college. I worked as a math tutor for tulsa community college part time during the summer. I have earned over 190 hours of college credit, I have two degrees, and I am only 15 hours away from a chemical engineering degree.

Presently I hold a certificate for Physics and chemistry and I'm planning on Certifying in Math (Algebra and geometry) here in Oklahoma. I have tutored for a learning center locally (Oxford) and have been tutoring independently since September with a number of success stories in both algebra and geometry as well as ACT preparation. I have taught 3 semesters as a Teaching assistant during graduate school, and am completing my second year as a physics/chemistry teacher. I have tutored independently since September 2009.
