A Little Bit About Me...

I began teaching classical ballet to all ages at the age of 18 and have been teaching ever since. I worked for Huntington learning centers as an English and Math tutor and as a math and english teacher at a private christian school for 6-12 grades where I also ran the performing arts program. I spent the first 8 years of my life in West Africa where I learned to speak French as well as English. I homeschooled, teaching all subjects 9-12th grade including History, Science, English, Math, French and electives.
I believe that each child is different and must be taught with that concept in mind. Teaching is motivating each child to want to learn and providing an atmosphere where that desire can develop. My students won many awards.In Florida I taught a semester at IndianRiver Community College.We moved to Melbourne and I taught Comm1 and 11and Speech and Drama at B.C.C, I worked there since 1998.

I like to encourage and support my students. Many students don’t want to learn or do not feel they can succeed. When a student is positive and feels that sense of pride; he will open himself up more to the idea of learning. Secondly, I will always do readings and visuals to stimulate both areas of the brain to ensure it is absorbed.
