Skilled and Experienced Teacher

I am a teacher by degree and have tutored a number of students in how to build their grades. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and have a speciality in Esol. I believe the most important area for a student to learn is to first learn how it is he/she best learns. If the student learns by listening, then we concentrate in that area, if the student has to read and take notes, then we concentrate this area. I have brought students up three grade levels by doing this. Students who are not native to the English language need to understand how to use their language to learn English (Ex. the word for sun in Spanish is sol.) So if you are reading about the solar system and don't know what solar means try to understand it through Spanish
