In 2011 to 2012 I worked as a lead tutor for Academic Achievers in Muncie. My core focus was to improve writing skills. My comments on tutoring Writing : Help with organization, content, proofreading, editing. All forms of writing: research, informational, persuasive, descriptive, expository, narrative, technical, response to literature. The most important part of your writing in order to allow your readers to understand what you have written.

I have taught middle school language arts for 15 years in both public and private schools. I excel in teaching young people how to write clearly, completely, and concisely. While I can teach them grammar, punctuation, spelling, organization, and research skills. CONTENT often comes from the heart rather than the head. I have been teaching children since 1990, when I worked as a Naturalist for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. I did this kind of education for 3 years. I then created my own educational company and presented workshops on natural resource topics for children and adults from 1997-2002. More recently, from 2006-09, I worked both as a substitute school teacher and a contract tutor. I am presently presenting weekly tree programs at my local Boys and Girls Club.
