I have taught many students on how to take a test. We go over many test strategies and ways to help narrow down choices even when you don't know the answer. With all the state tests, children need to be taught these strategies. I teach them to all my students. The first strategy that I use is building a relationship with the student by getting to know who they are, what there favorite things are, subjects, goals etc...
