I taught high school English for three years. My students ranged from far below basic to advanced. My students consistently showed improvement in their standardized test scores and over 95% of my students passed the course. Also, Over 95% of my sophomore passed the CAHSEE. In addition to my high school experience, I have been tutoring adult learners for the past three years, becoming the program manager two years ago. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : What is the difference between Reading and Reading Comprehension? If you do not comprehend what you read you are not reading, are you?

I believe learning should always be engaging and meaningful. It is critical to address individual student learning modalities and needs so the student can experience great success.
