I’ve studied at Kawai School of Music, Sony Piano Academy, and under Ken Ogiso of Yamaha Piano Co. I’ve been personally trained by Jane Bastien of the “Bastien Piano Basics” series. I have 16 years of experience teaching piano to students from 4 to 50 years old. I have also taught piano lessons to special ed. students as part of the fine motor training. I developed a very simple and intuitive piano method, which was partially inspired by the ancient notation system used for the Japanese KOTO harp.

While studying Spanish at Messiah College, I completed my major course requirements ahead of schedule and began to tutor other students in my sophomore year. I studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador, and I've traveled to various places in Mexico, which has fostered in me an appreciation for Hispanic culture as well as expertise in the language.
