My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : While earning my Bachelor's Degree Shakespeare was a constant topic and favorite topic I studied.

I have a passion for the written word. In my personal life, I write for leisure and fun, this can be in the form of stories, games or anything else. I am currently in the process of turning this passion into a career, until than I offer my passion to others as a tutor. I have been a tutor before and a college level Professors assistant where I helped students in mass (even proctoring classes for the absent professor). I also have some experience in the education of High School aged students, having at one time considered being a teacher. In this capacity I was most effective assisting and teaching students one-on-one.
Highly adaptable. Each student has there own unique learning style, I identify that and adapt my style to best assist the student.

Proficiency is acquired with methodical steps.

My approach is simple: assess the student's academic weaknesses, review the strengths, then teach the new material in order to bridge the content or skill. "Scaffolding" is the best means by which to teach so that the student understands the significance of the lesson. Too often, teachers play sage-on-stage, thereby neglecting to connect what the student already knows with the new material.
I am a credential-holding elementary school teacher with experience ranging from Kindergarten through 6th grade.
