I enjoy helping students 'solve their problems' by teaching them how to approach each problem or equation and reach the end solution. While in College, I was recommended by numerous professors for the tutoring program and was able to continue my tutoring career. Throughout the past seven years, I have tutored Pre-Algebra, Bio-Calculus, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.

As an engineer, I have taken all the Calculus courses and also on top of that required Chemistry and Physics. I was awarded Most passionate about Mathematics award and also was named young scholar of new jersey.
As an Engineer in making I go through this process everyday where sometimes I have to learn and sometimes I have to teach. I work in a team, and try to make connection between material and some real life example. Just to show an example, the pythagorus theorem is really useful to work around were we make use of the hypotenuse to walk less from point a to b rather than going through the path.

In my experiences, I have found the best way to fascilitate the learning of mathematics is through visual instruction via a whiteboard and/or blackboard. After the student sees an example of a problem done, I like to sit down with the tutee and have them walk me through the problems to make sure they have a good understanding of both the way to do the problem as well as a stron conceptual understanding of the material.
I have tutored at a Learning Center at Shippensburg University for the past two years.
