Excellent, Engish-1st-Language Math, Science & Music teacher

I am a laid-back, personable and practical instructor with a knack for simplifying math terminology down to everyday language, skilled at translating what appears to be a complicated concept into it's most basic, understandable form. I attempt to explain why something works the way it does because a student having that understanding will help him or her retain and be able to use the concept. Education is a very powerful tool. I enjoy seeing students progress from square one to fully capable musicians. I have been teaching privately for the past two years giving private instruction in piano, french horn, and harp. I will be completing my bachelors in music performance from Ohio State this spring. I also give tutoring in music theory for interested students.
