I do this by using multiple approaches for the same topic until it is fully understood in a way that makes practical application a natural progression. A Little Bit About Me...

When working with an individual student, my teaching style is to focus upon the student and create an individualized plan for how the student learns. I first look to see what kind of learner the student is, whether he/she is a visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or any combination of these learning styles. I am then able to formulate an approach for genuine learning. The next step is to ascertain what the student difficulties are in the subject matter and where the core of the difficulties may lie. With this teaching style, I am able to the student with what could be the core of academic difficulties by teaching to his/her strongest learning style.
