A Little Bit About Me...

Although I have been self employed for the last 6 years, I went back to school last year to add Science and Math for middle school to my certification. I passed the Praxis for both of those subjects spring of 2010. I was not able to get a full time teaching position this year. I went back to working for myself but would love to tutor. I have tutored for 3 years while I worked for Tryon Elementary school. I had great success with the students I worked with, in particular concerning math. I am very qualified to work in a tutoring capacity.

At St. Andrews Presbyterian College, I enjoyed helping fellow classmates write essays and found that my skills in English were immensely useful in all classes. I took a job working at the school library and was paid to help students with research and writing. English and spelling. Also I teach them about the basics of freehand drawing. We work on line spacing and using geometric designs in their drawing. And using negative space in their drawings.
