My name is Jim, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to be your or your child's tutor.I am a junior at Georgia Tech now. I have a double major of mechanical and computer science. My GPA is 3.7, and I got a full score of math in all my ACT tests. Also, I am top 25% students in my major. A Little Bit About Me...

During my course as a math tutor, I’ve found one on one tutoring to be most effective. Each child presented different needs and was receptive to different teaching methods, so I would meet with them individually. I believe each child is just as likely to succeed as the next one, and as a tutor, it is my job to encourage and instill confidence in them.
As I approach my college graduation, I have realized how fortunate I am to have been given the opportunity to attend college. I understood the importance of understanding math in life early on and my Finance degree only validated that notion. I had my first experience with tutoring in an intensive summer program at Georgia Tech before my freshman year when a good friend and upperclassman helped me navigate my way through Chemistry and college life. I had my first official tutoring role as a teaching assistant and mentor for an introductory course for incoming Chemistry and Biology majors.
