I have taken the SAT, MCAT, and USMLE Step 1, so I have plenty of experince taking national examinations.
Since memorizing usually helps for short term memory, I create ways to understand and remember ideas that are easy and fun to learn. My teaching style consists mostly of being patient. Not all students are quick to learn everything. As I approach my college graduation, I have realized how fortunate I am to have been given the opportunity to attend college. I understood the importance of understanding math in life early on and my Finance degree only validated that notion. Early this year, I began tutoring advanced math to middle school kids and found it to be a rejuvenating to see young minds eagerly waiting to be academically challenged.
During my course as a math tutor, I’ve found one on one tutoring to be most effective.
