My goal is to instill habits and skill sets in my students that change learning from a laborious, anxiety ridden process to a spontaneous and empowering one. We learn most from our mistakes, and so therefore, there is no such thing as failure. A one on one session gives a student the necessary attention, and connection, to a mentor that can make the difference. I love to teach and see the ideas light up the eyes of the person who suddenly got a concept. I think teaching should be adaptable and should fit the learning style of the student. Visual tasks, memory games, and hands-on-learning are, in my opinion, the best way to help someone truly learn (versus rote memory). I think that with the right guidance and put in the right environment, anyone can learn. I look forward to being that "right guidance."
