A Little Bit About Me...

I taught Kindergarten for six years in Ohio after earning my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. During that time I went back to further my education and receive my Master's in Literacy. I took an exam which made me certified to teach Reading grades K-12. During my master's program, I took a semester to tutor a struggling student. A Little Bit About Me...

I love to learn and help others to learn. Different people learn differently; therefore, I present material in a number of ways until I discover how the tutee learns. With that information and plenty of patience everyone learns their own way and at their own speed. My goal is to not only help students improve their grades but to also learn the material.
I am a fall graduate from Troy University and will be graduating with honors. I am currently a peer tutor at Troy in biology and math (algebra). I have tutored privately before in high school math (algebra and geometry. I graduated 9th in my high school with honors earning an advanced diploma with an honor's seal. As a graduate from a rigorous teacher training program at USF, I learned many skills and techniques to to teach students of all ability levels and ages.
