It has been proven that students have different styles of learning. Thus, I understand that my tutoring approach will not be the same for each client. I usually start off with a detailed explanation of the problem that includes diagrams and models. I believe that all children have the potential to learn and am a strong advocate of customized teaching. I am so drawn to the mathematics and sciences because I learn from working through problems and finding methods to solve them. When I tutor I tend to emphasize to the student to find a study method that works for them and adapt it to whatever they need to learn.
